phone systems for small business

What you need to consider for your phone system?

Most business’s of htis size rely heavily on their communications network. Phones now need to take on a multitude of different functions to not only enhance staff productivity, but also provide a very high quality customer experience as well.

Not only do you need phones to give you the basic features, but the phones themselves need to perform different roles. For example, Doctors might like mobile handsets connected to the network, with do not disturb buttons when they are with clients, receptionists might like phones with different volukme controls to make it easy to regulate volume for those hard to hear clients or the reverse for the "shouters".

All the “must haves” your business needs (as below including call routing, Caller ID, hold/ conference/transfer, queuing).

How we help you choose the best phone solution.

Recently we fitted out a professional practice that needed various different phones with varying capabilities to get the job done. We were able to keep costs down by only using higher end phones where a genuine business case warranted their extra acquisition cost.

Reception phones required 16 programable keys with one touch dialling, status of extensions, calling display on internal and external calls as well as standard features such as Hold, Transfer, Conference and Park.

The Consult Room phones were typically programmed with one touch keys in order for the Doctor to simply call, Reception, Treatment Room, Nurse or Practice Manager and can also be used to activate a Do Not Disturb key.

The Treatment Room phones were wall mounted and had a handsfree/ speaker key it is ideal for the treatment room. These phones are typically programmed with one touch keys for Reception, Nurse and Practice Manager.

That was just part of the way our business process flow analysis also helps to design a better solution for your situation. We also offer additional software monitoring of all call activity to ensure you stay on top of your communications

Our first task is to work with you to determine exactly what functionality you require and then apply our expertise to the task. For example, do you need:

Office phone systems

Wireless phones.
Conference calling.
VoIP.
Call Statistics.
Voicemail.
The ability to work remotely.

Phone systems and their capabilities have evovled significantly today, and the number of options and functionality that they have can present a really daunting task to understand them.

We ensure we fully explain without the "tech speak", exactly what it all means, how it will help you work more effectively, and what each piece of functionality can do.

You will get a modular expandable phone system.

All of our solutions are modular and expandable by design. We very rarely setup phone systems that are at 100% of capacity when they are released to you. The simple act of just adding one more handset for instance shouldn’t be an expensive or difficult task.

Modular systems let us add extra capacity to your phone system very easily. Who knows, one day you might also come up with a need for video conferencing and it would be nice if some of that functionality was already catered for.

At Surecom we ensure our designs not only meet the price sensitivity concerns of business, but are also allow you room to expand.
