Surecom fit out Kingsford Terrace

By

The final details are being fitted in stage one of the $100 million premium retirement living development in Brisbane’s west, Kingsford Terrace with the first residents moving into their new home next month. The developers of the project, Queensland based aged care provider PresCare, engaged Surecom to provide consultancy advice and communications/security design.

Surecom’s Operational Manager Charlie Cockerell has been working closely with the Project Team throughout the entire project to ensure the development’s information technology is world class.

Surecom have been instrumental in the installation of all information technology systems which include:

  • Emergency Call Assist
  • Intercom systems
  • Internet – each unit has been fitted with a WiFi access point
  • Security- intrusion detection and IP Camera Surveillance has been fitted to entry points and externally around the site to monitor main vehicle entrances and the surrounds
  • Swipe card access to building and underground car park
  • Telephone connections
  • Television/MATV system

Kingsford TerraceSurecom are also offering a value-add option by coordinating home phone and internet packages at highly competitive rates for the residents. This allows the residents to hand this job over to us, meaning they aren’t sitting on the phone or filling out paperwork for hours.

The Litchfield building is stage one of the six-stage Kingsford Terrace development which will ultimately house 209 premium retirement living apartments and a $5 million community centre and residential aged care facility. Charlie and his team will continue to work closely with the project team to provide information technology systems for the rest of the development as stage two begins in early 2016.
